The Death of Someone Great

Someone died this week that most of you have never heard of. Her name was Gale Storm.

You most likely have never heard of her because she never did any thing to make herself famous.

As for as I know Mrs. Storm never held her crotch while only wearing one glove. She never held a child over a balcony and made it through life without taking pain medicine. (Michael Jackson.)

Mrs. Storm never stripped off naked laid in paint and then wiggled on a canvas and called it art. (Farrah Fawcett.)

Gale never got on TV and screamed if you don’t buy this you will regret it. (Billy Mays)

Mrs. Storm actually saved some of her money and didn’t have to keep working way past her time(Ed McMahon)

What Mrs. Storms did do was star in two very popular TV shows in the 50’s and 60’s.

When she had finished she had done 269 shows. What angel can make that claim.

She then recorded two gold records.

She also was in 17 very successful plays.

During this entire time she never said or did any thing vulgar. She was always a lady and when she made you laugh you didn’t have to send the kids out of the room. In fact, the only thing bad she ever did was cause people to have sore ribs. That is right she was so funny you would laugh to your sides hurt.

She was married twice. Once for fourty four years, the other just for only a few years. Both her husbands preceded her in death.

No wonder her passing does not get much fan fare this week. After all, she could have been accused of being normal.

If you ever get a chance to watch a reruns of My Little Margie or The Gale Storms show you will thank me for writing this.

Gale Storms gone but not forgotten.
