Bubba W Jones, Dr, Rev, Archaeologist, Head Fry Cook

Dr. James W. Watt a renowned New York Scientists digging to a depth of 10 feet last year, in his home state of New York found traces of copper wire.

Said wire was dated at 1000 years old. With this information Dr. Watt concluded, that the people living in this area had a telephone network more than 1000 years earlier.

In the weeks that followed, a California archaeologist by the name of Samuel Fitzgerald III dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, a story in the LA Times read: “California archaeologists, finding of 2000 year old copper wire, have concluded that the people that lived in the region at the time had an advanced high-tech communications network a thousand years earlier than the New Yorkers.”

After digging as deep as 30 feet in his neighbor’s pasture near Pontotoc, Mississippi. Bubba W. Jones, full time fry cook and part time preacher as well as self-taught archaeologist woke up last Friday and read in the book of Ecclesiastes that nothing was new under the sun.

With this new revelation, he found absolutely nothing but a cow skull.

After studying the skull and surrounding dirt he concluded that the people that live in Mississippi 3000 years ago had already gone wireless. This made the front page of the states main newspaper, the Clarion ledger.

After reading this moving story, I decided to tell it again in my blog today.

People like Bubba make me proud to be a Mississippian.
